Match Summary:
Chile started the stronger team and took a deserved lead when Contreras ghosted into the penalty area to score with a glancing header. A minute later, Zamorano profited from lax defending to tap in a second, and just before half-time Navia ran onto a defence-splitting pass to lob the keeper. Chile's fourth goal came after a quick one-two between Tello and Navia. Nigeria pulled a goal back when Agali controlled a long ball and shot past Tapia.
